Fostering healthy ecosystems, coexistence, community resilience, and human well-being.
Through our grantmaking programs, Broad Reach Foundation strives to nurture new ideas, champion underrepresented viewpoints, and advance innovative approaches that lead to sustainable change.
We support a broad range of programs
The Foundation takes its name from sailing: when the position of the beam is at a broad angle in relation to the wind. This usually generates the highest possible speed and a sense of moving forward with power and grace—the wind at our back. In similar fashion, the Foundation attempts to leverage its resources as efficiently as possible for effective and joyful progress towards its goals.
We embrace a literal meaning of “Broad Reach”: we have a broad range of interest areas and seek to have impact both near and far.
